The North Cambs Bowling Association

The Men were affiliated to the English Bowling Federation in 1951 with the Ladies joining the English Women's Bowling Federation in 1969.

The objective of NCBA and NCWBA is to promote, foster and safeguard the flat green game of bowls in a safe environment in which adults, children and vulnerable adults can enjoy taking part in a game of bowls.

There are a total of 8 clubs affiliated to the EBF and to the EWBF: Black Cat BC (formally CMB BC), Emneth BC, Gorefield BC, March Town BC, Marshland St James BC, Newton BC, Parson Drove BC (EBF only), St Lawrence BC and Upwell BC (EWBF only)

Affiliated Clubs annually compete for the outdoor County Knock Out Cup with the winning club representing the County in the Durham Centenary Trophy where the winners of the Southern and Northern sections meeting in the final at Skegness.

County Teams made of players from affiliated clubs compete in the Southern section of the EBF (Adams & Newton outdoor and Eversley & Derbyshire Trophy indoor) and EWBF (Donald Steward Trophy & Silver Jubilee Vase outdoor and Harry Carver indoor)

Individuals compete in County Competitions for indoor and outdoor games where the annual County Champions qualify for National EBF & EWBF Finals at Lincoln for indoor and Skegness for outdoor.

1.  It is recommended all clubs affiliated to North Cambs will hold a register of their members, with their approval that they can hold personal data, name,    address, telephone number and email address,

2.  This data may be shared with North Cambs for the purpose of communication of information, arranging games, competitions etc.

3.  All emails from North Cambs will be to the individual or bcc and will never share other peoples email address.

4.  This data will only be shared with the National EBF & EWBF when necessary for County Officers and players in National Competitions and will not be shared with commercial organisations.

5.  All affiliation forms, County and National competition entry forms, County availability forms will only be accepted on the understanding that this data will be shared where required at County and National level.

6.  Personal data will be removed from the County data base of clubs, officers and bowlers within 28 days on contacting the County Secretary.
